Anyone interested in this field of study and incoming tourism, who loves to travel and is seeking to enrich their knowledge of the land of Israel, for graduate of studies on the subject of the land of Israel etc. Prerequisites: full matriculation certificate, knowledge of the English language, ability to express themselves verbally, Israeli citizen or a permanent resident of Israel (holder of resident visa or temporary residency status is also accepted). Candidates will be invited to admission committee, as required by the ministry of tourism. A medical formmust be submitted to be enrolled in this course. Candidates over the Age of 30 who do not have a matriculation certificate should submit high- school graduate diploma or a psychometric test with score over 550 points. Students from foreign countries must submit an approval of the education certificate from the ministry of education in Israel. Areas of study practical in guiding incoming tourism, geography of the land of Israel, archaeology and history, religions and minorities, Israel and current events, religious and minorities, Israel’s economics, art and environment, methodology and group building and extra workshops for the student's choice. Location and course frame Any of the 2 campus: Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The course takes place for two consecutive days a week, one that is a day field trip. Certificate Upon completion of the course with titled course, requirements will be award a certificate of "graduate of the course of qualified tourist guide" by the national school for tourism in Israel, managed by the University of Haifa. A national tour guide license issued by the ministry of tourism will be award after successfully completing the national tourist guide test (both written and oral) and Certification of the absence of a criminal record from the Israel Police (Form 3019).
